Summer Update - Your Money at Work
While we have been enjoying the summer, we have also been putting our PTC dollars to work.  

• PTC funding has provided gift cards to all of our teachers to help them with purchasing classroom supplies for the upcoming school year.  
• The PTC is also hosting a back-to-school luncheon for the Eliot staff on their first day back to work.   
• With the help of Eliot parent, Dave Linde, we have created and purchased lawn signs to welcome all of our new students this year!
• We are looking forward to launching a new website that has been developed with the help of Eliot parent, Michael Gottesman. 

Upcoming Events

• September 6th - Popsicles with the Principal - 6pm, Eliot Playground
• September 13th - Back to School Curriculum Night - 6pm-8pm, Eliot Performance Center
• September 18th - School Photo Day
• September 23rd - Eliot Family Hike - 10am
• September 26th - 1st PTC meeting - 9:15am, Eliot Performance Center

Volunteer Opportunities
We are looking for volunteers for the following: 

• Parent Social Night Chair - 1 needed (Joining Meredith Lopez to co-chair event) 
• Multicultural Night Chairs - 2 needed
• 4th and 5th Grade Spelling Bee Coordinators- 1 4th  grade parent needed (Joining Nicole Pollack to coordinate the event)
• Understanding Different Abilities - 1 needed (Joining Stacey Schneiderman to coordinate the program) 
• Talent Show Chairs - 2 needed (target date is first Friday/Saturday in April) (Carlyn Uyenoyama will be running the backstage)

***We want to be able to run all past events, but are in need of chairs to make this happen. If any of these roles interest you please email us for more information: [email protected]***
