A Note About Our Annual Campaign
October 7, 2020
Dear Eliot families, Recently you received a unique request – one that a year ago we never would have thought we would send – a request for playground equipment. John Eliot students learning in the hybrid model need equipment that is classroom-specific, as our administrators continue to modify “school as usual” and adapt to the public health crisis facing us all. What will our teachers and students working fully online or in the hybrid model need this week, this winter, or this spring? How will the Parent Teacher Council (PTC) support our teachers and provide educational experiences for all students in a year when field trips and in-person cultural events are not possible? As needs continue to evolve, our ability to respond depends on you and our community. John Eliot School needs your participation, ideas and generosity now more than ever before. Your generous gift to the PTC Fund will enable us to seek new ways to support our students, teachers and Principal Bourn during this unusual time. Your support will allow us to be agile and responsive to the changing needs at John Eliot School. We hope that you will consider a gift amount that makes sense for your financial situation. Often families give $50 per child at Eliot, while others give more. Historically, gifts range from $5 - $1,000. Making a gift of any size to John Eliot School’s PTC Fund reflects your unwavering commitment to the school and stands as a testimony of support during these challenging times. Please join us.
